We’re looking for Bank Healthcare Assistants to provide hands-on, person-centred care and emotional support to patients and families when it matters most.

Hospice experience is a real advantage, but it’s not essential — bring your compassion, curiosity, and willingness to learn, and support will be provided.

About the role

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, person-centred care, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

Your role will include:

Supporting with personal care and daily living needs
Helping patients feel comfortable, safe and cared for
Providing emotional support to patients and their loved ones
Working closely with nurses and the wider team to deliver the highest quality care
Creating a calm, compassionate and reassuring environment

Working pattern

This role involves working as and when needed, including:

Nights
Weekends
Bank holidays
