Petals to Remember Heligan

21/6/2026 15:00:00 @ 3.00 pm

What is Petals to Remember?

We’re inviting you to join us for Petals to Remember – unique and peaceful events to remember loved ones this June.  You can join us either The Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey and St Austell on Sunday 21st June or Trebah Gardens near Falmouth on Sunday 28th June. As gentle music plays we invite you to release petals, light candles and enjoy the nature all around us.  This event is free to attend but you do need to register in advance to join us, and advise which of the two venues you’d like to come to.

These events are kindly sponsored by W J Beswetherick & Son.

The petals are provided at each venue are sourced locally from the Kehelland Trust.

We would like to offer our sincere thank you to both venues for supporting Petals to Remember.

About The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Heligan is one of the most mysterious estates in England.  Lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of World War One, this Sleeping Beauty was re-awakened in 1990 to become Europe’s largest garden restoration project. Today Heligan’s 200 acres are a paradise for the explorer, wildlife, plant lover and garden romantic.

Accessibility for Petals to Remember

Approximately 13 acres of this can be accessed via even paths including; Productive Gardens, Pleasure Grounds and Home Farm as well as access to the Steward’s House.  The Gardens lie on a gentle downhill gradient, so please remember this when you want to make your way back to the exit.  The Jungle and Wider Estate are unfortunately not easily accessible to everyone.  Heligan has ample toilet facilities on arrival and at the Steward’s House, including accessible toilets.

You can find out about accessibility and facilities at Heligan on their own Accessibility webpage.
