Read on to find out how you can secure a Cornwall Hospice London Marathon charity place and what support you’ll receive every step of the way. \nApplying for a Cornwall Hospice London Marathon Gold Bond Place\nIf you’d like to run the London Marathon for Cornwall Hospice\, please complete our London Marathon Application Form. \nWe want to get to know you\, so tell us: \n\nabout your connection to Cornwall Hospice\nwhy you want to take on this huge challenge\nyour plans for training and fundraising ahead of race day\n\nApplication deadline: Monday 8th of June 2026 at 9.00am. Any applications made after this deadline will not be considered. \nAlready Have a London Marathon Public Ballot Place?\nLucky enough to secure a London Marathon Public Ballot place? Congratulations! \nIf you’d like to fundraise for Cornwall Hospice\, we would love to welcome you to the team. You’ll receive all the same support and perks as our Gold Bond runners. \nSimply get in touch with our Events & Challenges Partner\, Ellie\, and she’ll add you to #TeamCH. \nWhy Join #TeamCH?\nRunning the London Marathon is a huge achievement – and you won’t be doing it alone. When you join #TeamCH\, you’ll receive: \n\nA personalised Cornwall Hospice technical running vest to wear with pride\nAccess to a private WhatsApp group to connect with fellow runners\nA welcome meet and technical event\, including expert training and fundraising advice\nOngoing\, friendly support from our experienced Fundraising & Engagement Team\n\nWhether you have questions about training\, fundraising\, or race‑day logistics\, we’re here to help. Cornwall Hospice has supported London Marathon runners for many years – you’ll be in safe hands. \nExpert Support to Get You Race‑Ready\nWe host a welcome meet and technical event with members of our Fundraising & Engagement Team\, local running experts\, and our Cornwall Hospice physios. \nYou’ll receive: \n\npractical training & recovery advice to get you to the start line feeling confident\nproven fundraising tips to help you reach (and exceed) your target\nplenty of encouragement & support from our team\n\n  \nA Race Day Cheer Squad in London\nOn marathon day\, our Cornwall Hospice supporters will be out in force cheering you on. \nWe’ll let you know in advance where our dedicated charity cheer point will be – and friends and family are very welcome to join us. The more noise we can make to cheer you on\, the better! \nHow Much Do I Need to Fundraise?\nIf you’re successful in securing a Gold Bond charity place\, you’ll commit to raising a minimum of £2\,200. \nWe know that can feel daunting – but don’t worry. We’ll support you every step of the way. \nSetting up a fundraising page is quick and easy. We use JustGiving because it ensures more of your donations come straight to Cornwall Hospice. We’ll create a dedicated London Marathon campaign for you\, and a single social media share typically raises £26 on average. \nI’ve Got a Ballot Place – Can I Still Fundraise for Cornwall Hospice?\nAbsolutely! We welcome own‑place runners every year. \nYou’ll enjoy: \n\nthe same support and perks as Gold Bond runners\na Cornwall Hospice running vest\nthe flexibility to set your own fundraising target\n\nIf you’ve secured a Public Ballot place and would like to run for us\, please contact Ellie\, our Events & Challenges Partner. She’ll get you set up with the team and make sure you have everything you need. \nWhat Happens Next?\n\nApply here or by clicking the Sign Up button\nOur Fundraising & Engagement Team will meet after the Public Ballot results are announced to review applications\nSuccessful applicants will be notified shortly afterwards\n\nTo secure your Gold Bond place: \n\na £100 registration fee must be paid within 2 weeks of being offered a place\nthis fee is separate from your £2\,200 fundraising target\n\nOnce registered: \n\nyou’ll be added to the TCS London Marathon portal\nyou’ll receive your Cornwall Hospice running vest and Fundraising Pack\nwe’ll help you set up your JustGiving page\n\nAll #TeamCH runners will be invited to a meet and greet event\, and we’ll be on hand throughout your journey to support your training and fundraising. \nLondon Marathon Events will also contact you directly with all essential race‑day information\, which is available on the TCS London Marathon website. \nAnd on race day?\nWe’ll be there in London\, cheering you on every step of the way \n\n  \nRead our London Marathon 2027 Application Terms & Conditions here.
