Friends and family are welcome to join us at the cheer points too. \nYou are also invited to a post-race reception at a Hospice UK hospitality venue after your race to refuel and rejuvenate – there you can take advantage of a massage to help your aching muscles and grab a bite to eat. Friends and family are also welcome to join you at the hospitality venue for a hot drink. \nHow much do I need to fundraise?\nOur successful Golden Bond applicants will commit to fundraising a minimum target of £2000. \nWe know it can be daunting but we will be with you every step of the way to ensure you reach this target and beyond! \nSetting up a fundraising page is very easy – we prefer to use JustGiving as our online platform as more of the money comes to us! We will setup a dedicated London Marathon JustGiving campaign\, it only takes a couple of minutes to set up\, and a share to social media is worth an average of £26! \nI’ve got a Public Ballot place – can I still fundraise for Cornwall Hospice?\nAbsolutely yes! We welcome ‘own place’ runners each year and they receive the same perks as our Golden Bond applicants\, including one of our vibrant running vests – plus you have the added bonus of setting your own fundraising target! \nPlease email Jane if you have been lucky enough to secure a place in the Public Ballot and let her know you wish to run for us. She will add you to the Team and get in touch regarding your running vest and any support you may need. \nWhat happens next?\n\nApply today by clicking on the “Apply Now” button on this page.\nOur Selection Panel will meet when the Public Ballot is announced\, and our applicants will be advised shortly after.\nTo secure your Golden Bond place in this event\, successful applicants must pay a £100 registration fee within 2 weeks of being offered a place. This is separate to the £2\,000 minimum target.\nOnce the registration fee has been paid\, successful applicants will be entered onto the London Marathon portal.  This will generate an email with a link to create your log in to the TCS London Marathon.\nSuccessful applicants will receive a Cornwall Hospice running vest and Fundraising Pack. We also recommend you set up an online fundraising page with JustGiving.\nAs a part of #TeamCHC you’ll be offered a complimentary place in our own Run Falmouth Half Marathon in March – a perfectly placed race to incorporate into your training plan!\nAll #TeamCHC Runners will be invited to a Meet and Greet event to get to know the rest of the team!\nWe will be on hand to help you with fundraising and training for the London Marathon.\nLondon Marathon Events will email all runners ahead of race day providing them with all information you will need. This information is also available on the TCS London Marathon website.\nOn race day in London\, we’ll have a presence at one of the Hospice UK cheer points along the route – we communicate this to runners ahead of race day.

SUMMARY:Dance show
DESCRIPTION:Dance show\nThe amazing Liz Nolan Theatre Dance School has very kindly chosen Hugs and Cornwall Hospice’s St Julia’s Hospice as their charities to raise funds through their show in April. Liz runs shows that have a great combination of acting and dancing so get your tickets booked! There will also be a raffle on the night. Liz has been raising money for charities through her dance and drama shows for over 40 years so please support them and both charities whilst having a lovely time at the theatre. \nTickets can be booked here. \nFrom the group “Let us entertain you with our delightful story told in dance\, music and drama. Uncle Charles is abroad exploring the furthest corners of the world. He has left three nieces in the care of the housekeeper. Mrs Hardicore. But she isn’t very nice\, in fact she’s horrid. She lives a life of luxury in Uncle Charles’ grand house whilst the children become her servants. Through the dreams they visit the Land of Sweets\, have adventures with the fearsome pirates and visit heaven to see where dreams are made. But is it all a dream or will something magical happen?”
