SUMMARY:Care of the Dying Patient in the Last Days of Life
DESCRIPTION:Our Care of the Dying Patient course addresses identifying the five priorities for care and recognising how those five priorities for care support the provision of dignity\, comfort\, sensitive communication and compassionate care in the last days of life.\nIt is aimed at all health and social care staff caring for people in the last days and hours of life. \nThis 3 hour Care of the Dying Patient session will cover an overview of: \n\nRecognising the dying patient\nSensitive communication\nCommon symptoms in the last days of life\nSymptom management and care planning\n\nA certificate will be awarded upon completion of the session. \nCourse cost includes refreshments. \n  \nFind details of alternative dates\, venues and other courses we offer HERE.
