DESCRIPTION:The Grief and Bereavement course is available for Health and Social Care Professionals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.\nThis three-hour workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to gain and enhance their knowledge of grief and bereavement.\nThe course will explore Anticipatory Grief\, consider what it is\, and examine its implications in practice. Some of the theories and models of grief and bereavement will be explored to see if they help Healthcare Professionals understand people’s reaction to loss. \nParticipants will consider factors which may potentially impact on a person’s ability to cope with bereavement\, including disenfranchised grief\, and why people find it hard to support the bereaved.
