SUMMARY:The St Day Feast Walk
DESCRIPTION:The St Day Feast Walk\nJoin Robin Moore for a 5 mile walk.\nRobin has been a fundraiser for the Hospice for over a decade! Join him on a taster walk before he takes on his annual Cornish Pilgrimage in September\, where he will walk 200 miles across the County whilst raising money for the charity. \nOverview: leaving the Star Inn Carpark\, the walk heads uphill into St Day\, leaving the village via the footpath to the left of Telegraph Street. The path descends to the rugby field; crosses the ground and exits onto the road which continues a quarter of a mile to Poldice Cottage. \nFrom here\, it follows the Portreath Tramroad to Scorrier where we take a half hour break at one of the local inns. \nHeading back\, we have a choice of route: a shorter route retreats to the Scorrier Woods where we join the St Day trail back to Pink Moors and Vogue. The longer version takes in Treskerby and then crosses 7 fields on its course back to Pink Moors and Vogue. \nYou can see what other fundraising events we have coming up by visiting our website events calendar.
