Whilst walking in nature\, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others.\nWe will meet at the carpark outside of the Wheal Martyn Clay Works museum main building. We will stroll (an amble NOT a ramble) along part of the clay trail finishing at the museum cafe for refreshments. \nUpdate for Fridays walk at Wheal Martyn Clay Museum\, we have found out the cafe is closed until mid January\, so we will go ahead with the walk but head over to Niles Bakery after the walk for our cuppa. DESCRIPTION:Our Walk Talk Kernow Godrevy event will take place on Thursday 21st May 2026. We will meet outside the café by the benches at 10.00am to register.\nWalk Talk Kernow is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice. Whilst walking in nature\, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others.\nKey information about Walk Talk Kernow Godrevy\n\nWe will take a moderate walk of approximately 2 mile circular to the RNLI Lifeguard Station towards Gwithian\, returning to the café for refreshments with the group finishing at 12pm.\nThe Walk Talk Kernow Godrevy walk is at strolling pace (an amble NOT a ramble) along either the high tide line across the beach or via the nature reserve and looping either way before heading back.\nThe café and walk are accessible to most although there some steeper parts\, uneven ground and slope to the beach. Not suitable for wheelchairs or wheeled walkers. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Walk Talk Kernow Penzance Promenade Walk to Newlyn on Friday 12th June 2026 at 10.00am to register.   \nWe will stroll (an amble NOT a ramble) along the prom towards Newlyn and then stroll back returning to Jubilee Pool Cafe for refreshments. \nWalk Talk Kernow is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice. Whilst walking in nature\, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others.  \nKey Information for Walk Talk Kernow Penzance Promenade to Newlyn Walk  \n\nWe will meet outside Jubilee Pool Cafe at 10.00am for registration. \n\n\nThe walk is flat and the cafe is accessible to most. \n\n\nPlease wear suitable footwear. \n\n\nWell behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. \nPlease ensure you are fit and healthy on the day as you will be asked to sign our registration form to this effect. \n** During the summer months it is important to stay hydrated\, please bring along adequate drinks for this reason **\n\n\nOur team will be wearing Cornwall Hospice lanyards so do look out for them. \n\n\nFree on street parking is available on the prom and surrounding streets on a first come\, first served basis. DESCRIPTION:Our Walk Talk Kernow Hayle King George V Memorial Walk event will take place on Thursday 18th June 2026. We meet outside Gilberts Beach Bar & Kitchen at 10.00am to register. \nWalk Talk Kernow is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice. Whilst walking in nature\, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others. \nKey information about Walk Talk Kernow Hayle – King George V Memorial Walk \n\nWe will take a stroll along the Memorial Walk at the half way point we will loop back returning to the cafe for refreshments and finish by 12.00pm. \n\n\nThe Walk Talk Kernow Hayle walk is a flat well surfaced pathway (an amble NOT a ramble) with a choice of tarmacked or woodland loop back\, with an approximate distance 2 miles. It is mostly flat but some grassy banks on the loop so NOT suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. \n\n\nSuitable footwear and appropriate clothing are essential. \nWell behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.\nPlease ensure you are fit and healthy on the day as you will be asked to sign on our registration form to this effect. \n** During the summer months it is important to stay hydrated\, please bring along adequate drinks for this reason **\nOur team will be wearing Cornwall Hospice lanyards so do look out for them. \n\n\nPlease note: There is a car park beside Hayle Swimming Pool available (free at the time of hosting this event).
