DESCRIPTION:Dance show\nThe amazing Liz Nolan Theatre Dance School has very kindly chosen Hugs and Cornwall Hospice’s St Julia’s Hospice as their charities to raise funds through their show in April. Liz runs shows that have a great combination of acting and dancing so get your tickets booked! There will also be a raffle on the night. Liz has been raising money for charities through her dance and drama shows for over 40 years so please support them and both charities whilst having a lovely time at the theatre. \nTickets can be booked here. \nFrom the group “Let us entertain you with our delightful story told in dance\, music and drama. Uncle Charles is abroad exploring the furthest corners of the world. He has left three nieces in the care of the housekeeper. Mrs Hardicore. But she isn’t very nice\, in fact she’s horrid. She lives a life of luxury in Uncle Charles’ grand house whilst the children become her servants. Through the dreams they visit the Land of Sweets\, have adventures with the fearsome pirates and visit heaven to see where dreams are made. But is it all a dream or will something magical happen?”

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Walk Talk Kernow Truro Boscawen Park event on Friday 24th April 2026 at 10.00am to register.   We will stroll (an amble NOT a ramble) along the river walk\, through the park\, round the duckpond\, coming out at the café.\nWalk Talk Kernow is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice. Whilst walking in nature\, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others.\nWe also have a Walk Talk Kernow Facebook group – click HERE to visit and join our community. \nWalk Talk Kernow Truro Boscawen Park key information: \n\nWe will meet in the main car park next to the Scout Hut at 10.00am.\nThe walk will be approximately a mile and due to the terrain\, is not suitable for wheelchairs.\nPlease wear suitable footwear.\nWell behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.\nPlease ensure you are fit and healthy on the day as you will be asked to sign our registration form to this effect.   \n** During the summer months it is important to stay hydrated\, please bring along adequate drinks for this reason **\nOur team will be wearing Cornwall Hospice lanyards so do look out for them.\nParking is free\, if the carpark is full there is plenty of roadside parking.\n\nFor more information about this Walk Talk Kernow Truro – Boscawen Park event please email communityservices@cornwallhospice.org or call 01726 829874. \n** During adverse weather conditions\, you can check if walks are going ahead by calling the number above ** \n  \nYou can find out about all the other services we offer at venues near you by clicking here. \n
