A Race Day Cheer Squad in London
On marathon day, our Cornwall Hospice supporters will be out in force cheering you on.
We’ll let you know in advance where our dedicated charity cheer point will be – and friends and family are very welcome to join us. The more noise we can make to cheer you on, the better!
How Much Do I Need to Fundraise?
If you’re successful in securing a Gold Bond charity place, you’ll commit to raising a minimum of £2,200.
We know that can feel daunting – but don’t worry. We’ll support you every step of the way.
Setting up a fundraising page is quick and easy. We use JustGiving because it ensures more of your donations come straight to Cornwall Hospice. We’ll create a dedicated London Marathon campaign for you, and a single social media share typically raises £26 on average.
I’ve Got a Ballot Place – Can I Still Fundraise for Cornwall Hospice?
Absolutely! We welcome own‑place runners every year.
You’ll enjoy:
- the same support and perks as Gold Bond runners
- a Cornwall Hospice running vest
- the flexibility to set your own fundraising target
If you’ve secured a Public Ballot place and would like to run for us, please contact Ellie, our Events & Challenges Partner. She’ll get you set up with the team and make sure you have everything you need.
